Battle of Sabine Pass- The battle at the Sabine river, included 44 Confederate men, coming up against hundreds of Union soldiers on boats. The boats couldn't move through the shallow waters, so they didn't cover much ground. The 44 Confederate soldiers took down the ships, and captured 200 Union soldiers prisoner.
Battle of laredo- Alfred Holt led 200 Union men from Brownsville, Texas to destroy 5,000 pieces of cotton. Trading was a main part of the Confederates, because they needed the supplies.
Battle of Palmito Ranch- This was the last battle of the Civil War, although the war had already ended. The news didn't spread quick enough, so they continued on with the battle.
